About the event
The 2023 NGAWV/EANGWV State Conference will be held April 28th and 29th, 2023, at the Camp Dawson Events Center in Kingwood, West Virginia. We are looking forward to coming together to celebrate the accomplishments of the West Virginia National Guard and the Officer and Enlisted Associations of West Virginia.
In 2022, the NGAWV and EANGWV were successful in collaborating with the National Guard Association of the United States and EANGUS in lobbying for military construction dollars in excess of $26 million for West Virginia, $3 million for irregular warfare training expansion within the WVNG, enlistment enhancement and retention benefits for service members, an increase in military clothing allowance and to bring parity to benefits for state active duty service.
This year, the Association has lofty goals, both in the State of West Virginia and at the national level, to advance key initiatives and further enhance the National Guard’s presence and reputation and we need YOUR voice to help us!
This year's State Conference will feature new and exciting additions to include breakout sessions for Enlisted and CGO professional development and live entertainment by up and coming Indy Folk Band from Huntington, WV, Kindred Valley, whose debut album was relesed in December 2022.
